Genevieve Jobes is visual artist working between Pacific Coast cities of Sydney and Seattle. She explores the reflective quality of water, researching the overlaps in navigation, material memory and the tactile experience of landscape. Her painted surfaces evoke traveling at the edge of water, using fluid brushwork on fabrics gathered during walks to the tide lines.
